Moving to the Lowcountry of South Carolina?

I grew up here. Real estate is the family business. And this Lowcountry life? I'm all in, from golf carts to dinner to dolphins off the dock.

If you want an agent who lives it... we should connect.

Not quite ready to connect? Start with my Move to Bluffton guide

My Dad & I(He's my broker in charge.)

Hi, I'm Julia.

I've been a Lowcountry agent for 24 years.

My dad is my broker-in-charge at Kiser Real Estate, right here in Old Town Bluffton. I grew up on Hilton Head Island and raised my own family in Bluffton.

Along with representing sellers locally, one of my favorite things is helping people relocate to the Lowcountry.

Before you ever even come to visit, we should connect for a phone call. The education process is my favorite. I'll get to know you and your family and what you want your days to look like, then I'll help you narrow it down to the communities that are a good fit. That way, when you plan your trip, it's focused on seeing homes and communities you can actually picture living in.

When you're here, I'll walk you through everything and show you the real Bluffton, through the eyes of a native.

After you move in, I'll help you get plugged into the community, whether it's friends, contractors, service providers or whatever you need.

Neighborhoods

A few communities I think are worth exploring

Every one has its own personality. Here's my quick take on the few listed here. My guide goes a little deeper, and there are lots of other communities to consider when we connect.

  • A brick path leading to a historic wooden church under the palmettos

    Old Town Bluffton

    Walkable historic district

Coffee at Corner Perk, the farmers market on Thursdays and live music most weekends. Restored cottages and new builds tucked behind the oaks.

  • A long wooden boardwalk running out over the river

    Palmetto Bluff

    Gated, on the May River

Its own little world. Forest trails lead to river docks, golf carts go to dinner, and Old Town is still a short drive away.

  • A landscaped entrance with a flag and flower beds

    Hampton Hall

    Gated golf and social club

Known for its Pete Dye course and a lively social scene. You don't have to swing a club to love it here.

  • The clubhouse and pool beside the lake, seen from above

    Hampton Lake

    Gated, on a 165-acre lake

Paddleboards at sunrise and live music at the clubhouse on weekends. The neighbors really use it all.

  • Marsh grass and open water on a sunny day

    Rose Hill

Gated, Hwy 278 to the Colleton River

Room to spread out. Equestrian estates, waterfront homes with private docks, and golf carts that roam free.

  • The Oldfield outfitters building with a flag out front

    Oldfield

    Private, on the Okatie River

Live oaks, a barn, river views and a Greg Norman course. Historic and luxurious at the same time.

  • An ivy-covered arch, flower beds and white brick at Belfair

    Belfair

    Gated, private golf

An avenue of live oaks, then two Tom Fazio courses. If golf is the plan, put this one on your list.

  • The Berkeley Hall clubhouse at the end of a long green lawn

    Berkeley Hall

Gated, private golf on the Okatie

Two Tom Fazio courses with no homes on the fairways, and a River Park with kayaks for the days you'd rather paddle than putt.

  • Wooden docks reaching out over the water at Colleton River

    Colleton River

    Gated, on a river peninsula

Water on both sides, a Jack Nicklaus course, a Pete Dye course and a deep-water community dock.

  • A live oak draped in Spanish moss beside the water, with boats at the dock

    Moss Creek

Gated, closest to the island beaches

Two golf courses and a private marina. You live in Bluffton, but your mail says Hilton Head.

Not sure which one fits you? My guide has a quick quiz that matches you to a community.

Life here

A regular Tuesday in Bluffton

Selling

Thinking about selling?

I'll help you get your home ready and price it right. Then I'll put it in front of the people planning a move here from all over the country. Those are the folks I talk to all week long.
